Can I download Ken now?
Not yet. Ken is being prepared for an iOS TestFlight beta. Physical-device testing, Apple distribution, legal/operator readiness and other release checks are still in progress. There is no public launch date.
Which platforms will Ken support?
We're focusing on iOS for now. Android and other platforms are planned for later, with no release dates announced.
How does Ken protect my privacy?
Your conversations are yours. End-to-end encryption keeps supported private messages and attachments unreadable to our servers. For a clear explanation of account information, message delivery and optional services, read our privacy overview.
Will Ken have voice and video calls?
Sometimes a voice says more than a message. Voice and video calling are in development, so you can look forward to hearing a familiar voice or catching up face to face. Calling is experimental and disabled in release builds while production relay setup and two-device testing are completed.
Does it work without the internet?
Encrypted nearby messaging over local Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is in development. It is not a released feature. The initial scope requires both apps open and paired nearby devices. Multi-hop relaying is not included, and iOS cannot guarantee forwarding while Ken is closed.
Can Ken recover my messages if I lose my phone?
Account recovery does not recover lost device encryption keys or chat history. Ken Cloud is planned, not an available backup service. Keep your existing device and keys safe.
What does Ken+ include?
The plan is 30 GB of encrypted media storage plus Ken Cloud for supported messages and contacts, at €8/month or €48/year, tied to one account and not transferable. Billing and storage are not live. Final tax, cancellation, refund and retention terms will be provided before purchasing becomes possible.
